A luxury hotel development was proposed in West Linton, in the heart of the Scottish Borders.
Pinnacle Environment Ltd was enlisted to carry out an assessment of the existing vegetation and the impact the new development would have on the local tree cover.
Pinnacle also surveyed the trees across the adjacent 18 hole golf course in accordance with the QTRA© methodology.
The purpose of the survey was to establish whether users of the site were exposed to an unacceptable level of risk given the condition of trees and the level of site use.
